Mandee Schroer received her BFA in Drawing & Painting from the University of New Mexico in 2000, and an MFA in Contemporary Art Practices at Portland State University in 2007. Recent work and exhibitions include April 2017, solo exhibition, Pence Pinckney Gallery, Central Oregon Community College, Bend, Oregon; December 2017 Caldera Community Residency, January 2016, two-person exhibition, Alexander Gallery, Clackamas Community College, Oregon City, Oregon; April 2015 Caldera Artist Residency, Sisters, Oregon; July 2013, Arquetopia Artist Residency Program, Oaxaca, Mexico; June 2011, Proyecto Ace's Artist Printmaking Residency, Buenos Aires, Argentina; March 2011, Portland State University - La Casa Latina Center, Mixed Media Commission; 2009, a project created by Luis Camnitzer, The Last Book - El Ultimo Libro, on display at The National Library of Buenos Aires, the Zentral Bibliothek, Zurich, Switzerland, and New York Public Library, New York. Schroer also had her work published in Volume Magazine Issue #15, and Portland Modern, Issue #5.

Schroer currently teaches drawing and mixed-media courses at PSU. Since 2013 she has led the PSU Education Abroad Printmaking & Mixed-Media class in Guanajuato, Mexico, as well as Macerata, Italy in 2012.
