Kristina Holtrop


Kristina Holtrop is an affiliate member of the Population Research Center. With a background in public policy, her research work focuses on sexual and reproductive health and rights. Holtrop received her master’s degree in Public Policy and Human Development from United Nations University-MERIT in the Netherlands, has researched the abortion access of Burmese migrants in northern Thailand, and interned in the gender and health department of the United Nations University International Institute for Global Health in Malaysia. Her demography research encompasses natural human sex ratios at birth and the effect of temperature on human mate-seeking behavior.
