Jahmekya Birhan is the Associate Director of Development for the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science where she’s immersed in propelling key philanthropic initiatives and fostering relationships with students, faculty, and friends of the college.
Prior to joining PSUF in 2018, Jahmekya worked on marketing initiatives for several of New York City’s food sovereignty-focused worker cooperatives.
Jahmekya graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies, Food Politics, and Printmaking.
In her spare time, Jahmekya is an avid audiobook listener and walker; often spending time planning her next adventure in the Pacific Northwest.
