Gracie (she/they) is a PSU alumni who obtained their Bachelors of Science in Sociology with special interest in sexuality and gender, disability, and fat studies. Gracie began working at the Disability Resource Center as an Alternative Format Technician, where they discovered their passion for creating accessible digital content. As someone who took an "untraditional" path toward completing their degree, Gracie believes in the transformative and life-altering power of pursuing higher education. This, along with the wisdom of disability activists, black feminist thinkers, and fat liberation principles, guides her work in the Disability Resource Center as the Alternative Formats Coordinator. She is committed to contributing towards a future that is diverse, reflexive, and accessible. In their free time, Gracie enjoys vegetable gardening in their front yard, eating delicious food, laughing, and watching reality TV with their partner and two cats, Forrest and Maple.
