PSU History
I have been an investigator at the Regional Research Institute for about 23 years.
Experience
During my tenure at the RRI, I have been principal or co-investigator on numerous grants and contracts from federal, state, local and foundation funders. Positions I have held include director of the Research and Training Center for Pathways to Positive Futures (Pathways RTC), co-director of the National Wraparound Initiative and the National Wraparound Implementation Center, and lead for PSU as a core partner in the National Technical Assistance Center for Children's Behavioral Health and the Mental Health Technology Transfer Center.
Academic/Research Interests
Youth and young adult mental health; non-traditional service, support and wellness strategies based on positive development; peer support; youth and young adult participation in advising and decision making at the agency and system levels; workforce development and training strategies, including remote training and coaching;
Personal Interests
Hanging out or hiking with my family and dog, doing cryptic crossword puzzles, tennis and pickleball, reading and listening to audiobooks, puttering in the yard and garden
