Emma Renshaw is the Coordinator of Special Programs for the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science at Portland State University. Prior to joining PSU in October 2018, she worked for 14 years in the refugee and human rights sector, most recently with the British Red Cross as national Operations Manager for their refugee family reunion program and before this as the refugee service manager for London. She has worked for the International Rescue Committee in Africa and SE Asia, and as an immigration caseworker representing clients in their human rights and asylum claims. She spent seven years in China, teaching English and later as a country program officer for the international non-profit Voluntary Service Overseas.
At PSU, Emma coordinates the partnership program between the Maseeh College of Engineering & Computer Science and colleges in China.
