Christi Ziegler (she/her) has been with PSU since 2011 where she serves as the Student Insurance Coordinator for the Center of Student Health & Counseling (SHAC). She is responsible for helping students navigate the complicated world of health insurance, complete insurance waivers, and maintains daily communications with the insurance broker and insurance carrier teams. She currently holds her Health Insurance Agent License in the State of Oregon (since 2004). Being a mom of a trans-son, she is a fierce advocate for the LGBTQIA2S+ community.
Christi has a bachelor’s degree in Interpreting for the Deaf with a minor in Communications from Bloomsburg University in PA. She is a member of Free Mom Hugs (Oregon Chapter), Parents of Transgender Kids, and serves on the PSU Queer and Trans Care Team.
