Caedy Young Hildebrandt, Ph.D. (she/her/hers) is the Coordinator of Assessment within Counseling Services at SHAC.  Caedy holds a B.A. in Psychology, a M.S. in Clinical Psychology, a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, and a professional certification in gerontology.  Caedy has been involved with the assessment program at SHAC since 2016 and has completed several practica, a predoctoral internship, and postdoctoral residency training at PSU.  As a clinician, she specializes in memory disorders and the neuropsychological assessment of neurocognitive, neurodegenerative, and neurodevelopmental disorders in adults.  At present, she is directing the assessment program focused on providing services for students seeking evaluation of ADHD and learning disorders.  In addition to overseeing the management of the assessment program, Caedy’s role includes direct service provision and leading the training program for practicum students and psychology residents.  During her time at SHAC, Caedy has also been involved in university-wide program evaluation/research efforts with SAGE, and her empirical research outside of PSU is focused on memory disorders among adults.  

Outside of SHAC, Caedy is a student at Johns Hopkins University pursuing a M.A. in Scientific Writing and often consults on academic and institutional-level research.  Caedy is an avid nerd and, in her free time when she isn’t looking at pictures of dogs online, can probably be found watching a Star Wars film or playing Dungeons & Dragons along with her husband, as well as spending time with their cat, dog, and leopard gecko.
