Dr. Bruce Irvin is a Senior Instructor of Computer Science in the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science at Portland State University. Dr. Irvin joined the faculty of PSU after 20 years as a software developer and manager at Oracle Corporation. He welcomes the challenge of teaching and advising the next generation of software developers. Dr. Irvin is a member of ACM and IEEE and the 2017 Evergreen Family Bonspiel Champion. He received his B.S. in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin.
