Becky Morinishi is excited to join the CPS team as the Certificate in Tribal Relations Program Assistant. She is a mom of five and a member of the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska. Becky graduated from PSU with a BS in Social Science and minors in English and Civic Leadership, and is currently in the second year of the MPA program with a focus on local government. Becky also works as an on-call Volunteer Coordinator at Oregon Food Bank, is a member of PSU's Committee for Improving Food Security, is chair of Washington County CPO 6 (neighborhood association) and president of the Parent-Teacher Organization at her youngest child's school. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and pets, reading, participating in community-building activities, and collecting LEGO sets. She is thankful to have grown up on the Oregon coast, but prefers living inland where she can experience the changing of the seasons.
