Arielle Hacker (she/her) serves as the Mental Health Promotion Coordinator at the Center for Student Health and Counseling (SHAC). Arielle studied at Indiana University-Bloomington where she obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work with a focus in Mental Health and Addiction.
Before Portland State University, Arielle worked extensively with people who use drugs, people in early recovery, individuals impacted by the legal system, housing, and food instability, as well as individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
In her free time, Arielle enjoys painting, reading, watching scary movies, and exploring the PNW with her Schnauzer, Lily.
