The Community Resilience Estimates (CRE) measure the social vulnerability of an area in the event of a disaster using restricted microdata and small area estimation methods. Tools, like the CRE for Equity Profiles visualization, helps users understand the social and economic characteristics of areas identified as vulnerable.
OnTheMap for Emergency Management is a public data tool that provides an intuitive web-based interface for accessing U.S. population and workforce statistics, in real time, for areas being affected by natural disasters. The tool allows users to retrieve reports containing detailed workforce, population, and housing characteristics for hurricanes, floods, wildfires, winter storms, and federal disaster declaration areas
Census Business Builder is a suite of services that provide selected demographic and economic data from the Census Bureau tailored to specific types of users in a simple to access and use format.
