She also worked for the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality and the Oregon Legislature. Cat has produced a wide range of documents to educate policy makers and the public, to gather and present data, and to drive operational effectiveness. Cat has a master’s degree in technical and professional communication and a bachelor’s degree in English and secondary education from the University of Wisconsin. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. In her off hours, Cat enjoys hiking Oregon with her family, camping near streams, and tending her urban farm. Blue hydrangeas sport her favorite color and are her favorite flower.
