Nina was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area but holds strong ties to Oregon and its communities. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Southern Oregon University and lived in the area for several years before making a recent move to Portland in order to pursue new opportunities and gain new experiences. She draws from her past work in grassroots organizing, communications, storytelling, project planning, and facilitation to Oregon's Kitchen Table (OKT). Before joining the OKT team in 2025, they worked as a community organizer for Rogue Action Center’s LGBTQ+ Listening Project. They currently serve in an advisory role on the Community Leadership Team for Pride in Numbers, a statewide research and data project by and for 2SLGBTQIA Oregonians. In their free time, they enjoy analyzing and discussing various forms of arts and media, exploring the local food scene, and making matcha lattes at home.
