Two one-act operas by Giacomo Puccini. 

Libretto by Giovacchino Forzano will be sung in Italian.

Experience an unforgettable evening of emotional opposites from the creative genius Giacomo Puccini.  Beginning with the profound sorrow of Suor Angelica, you'll hear a poignant story of devotion and inner conflict accompanied by Puccini's lush, evocative score. Then, shift to the comedic charm and sparkling satire of Gianni Schicchi, highlighting Puccini’s gift for lively characterizations and exuberant tunes. This dynamic pairing provides an evening of contrasts and harmony, showcasing Puccini's extraordinary versatility.

On April 18 and 27, Sister Angelica will be played by Serena Mason, Gianni Schicchi will be played by Izaak Thoms, Lauretta will be played by Kathryn Thomas, and Rinuccio will be played by Eric Asakawa.

On April 19 and 26, Sister Angelica will be played by Britt Doom, Gianni Schicchi will be played by Marcus Luka, Lauretta will be played by Laurien Zahn, and Rinuccio will be played Jere Burkholder.
