Come and celebrate the life of this great man with tributes, and performances by PSU faculty members. Reception to follow.

Harold touched so many of our lives. His legacy is many faceted:

  • He taught enumerable students at PSU, many of whom went on to great careers.
  • He performed for decades with the Florestan Trio collaborating with Hamilton Chiefetz and Carol Sindell.
  • He served for many years as the Director of the School of Music at PSU.
  • He founded the PSU Piano Recital Series and directed the series artistically for 35 years.
  • He was a friend and mentor to many of us!

For more about Harold’s extensive legacy, read Brett Campbell’s article in Oregon Arts Watch.

This concert will also serve as a benefit for the Harold King Gray and Mary Hall Kogen Coordinate Movement Endowed Scholarship, supporting students within the College of the Arts, School of Music & Theater. Use this link to donate. Thank you.
