Treva is a BSN, RN in Portland OR whose work follows her belief that equitable health care is a social movement. As front line nursing staff, she has cared for patients in houseless shelters and low income clinics in Portland and advocated tirelessly for improvement in the patient care, particularly in the realms of upstream interventions, public policy, sexual health education, reproductive justice and ethical treatment of underserved populations.
Treva entered nursing as an outsider completing her education slowly and over a number of years, juggling time and resources as a single mom. Treva is also a musician in Portand’s local music scene.
