Oregon Community-Based Care Project (CBC)

The reports provided on this website describe the results of three studies based in community-based care settings in Oregon. One study describes characteristics of residents in assisted living, residential care, and memory care communities; the second study describes characteristics of adult foster care home residents and staff; and the third describes Medicaid clients who lived in one of these types of community-based care settings. Data were collected and analyzed with support from Oregon Department of Health and Human Services.

September 15, 2017: Long-Term & Community-Based Care Report Release Event
Presents findings from studies about assisted living, residential care, endorsed memory care, adult foster homes, and nursing facilities. Researchers with the Oregon State University College of Public Health and Human Services and the Institute on Aging at Portland State University, and representatives from the Oregon Department of Human Services Aging and People with Disabilities participated in a round table discussion of the studies’ findings.
