  1. Heejun Chang, geography faculty, and Alexander Ross PhD ’20 received the 2022 Tison Award for young scientists bestowed by the International Association of Hydrological Sciences.
  2. Heejun Chang, geography faculty, has been selected to receive the 2022 E. Willard and Ruby S. Miller Award from the American Association of Geographers for high-impact, societally relevant geographic research.
  3. Chia Yin Hsu, history faculty, was interviewed by KPTV on Feb. 25 and KATU on Feb. 27 about the war in Ukraine. 
  4. Thea Prieto, English, was interviewed by Propeller Books and CRAFT Literary Magazine about her  book “From the Caves.” The book was also reviewed in The Rupture.
