  1. Rowanna Carpenter, university studies, Seanna Kerrigan, university studies, and Vicki Reitenauer, women, gender, and sexuality studies faculty, presented “Let’s Not Wait for the Next Pandemic: Engaging Faculty to Adapt Existing Assessment Approaches to Meet Emerging Questions” at the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis 2021 Assessment Institute in October.
  2. Melissa Haeffner, environmental sciences and management faculty, was the featured speaker with her talk “Teaching Environmental Justice Theory and Applications in STEM” at the National Science Teaching Association Area Conference in October.
  3. Ashley Streig, geology faculty, and Andrew Dunning, graduate student, presented “Evaluation of the Slip History and Holocene Activity of Faults in the Strawberry Mountains, Grant County, Oregon” at the Geological Society of America 2021 Annual Meeting in October.
  4. Ashley Streig, geology faculty, presented “The Mount Hood Fault Zone, Active Faulting at the Crest of the Dynamic Cascade Range, North-Central Oregon, USA” during a field trip at the Geological Society of America 2021 Annual Meeting in October.
  5. Dilafruz Williams, education faculty, presented an invitational webinar, “Regenerative Hope: Biocultural Diversity and Learning Gardens,” at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education as part of the OISE Wellness Series at University of Toronto, Canada on Oct. 20.
  6. Jing Zhao, finance faculty, presented “Distracted Shareholders and Corporate Innovation” at the 2021 Financial Management Association Annual Meeting on Oct. 23.
