  1. Talya Bauer, business faculty, had her research on boomerang employees featured in the article “Why ‘Boomerang Employees’ May Be a Valuable Talent Source” in Human Resource Executive. 
  2. Scott Burns, geology faculty emeritus, retired from Oregon State Board of Geologist Examiners in December after six years of service. He was appointed to the board by the governor in 2014.
  3. Dave Cadiz, business, was invited to serve as assistant guest editor for a special issue of the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health titled “Age at Work, Well-Being and COVID Related Challenges.” 
  4. Shirley A. Jackson, sociology faculty, has been elected vice-president elect of the Pacific Sociological Association, effective spring 2021.
  5. Jennifer Peterson, University Honors College, co-edited “One Health and Neglected Tropical Diseases,” a special issue of the peer-reviewed journal Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
