Heejun Chang and Nancee Hunter, geography faculty; and Elise Granek and Sarah Carvill, environment science and management, received a $149,989 grant from the National Science Foundation to study SRS-RN Track 2: MACRO-SETS: Microplastics Across the Columbia River basin to the Ocean: Social-Ecological-Technological System.
  2. Ashley Streig, geology faculty, received a $582,316 grant from the National Science Foundation to study slip rates and earthquake timing of distributed Quaternary crustal deformation to evaluate structural accommodation of clockwise rotation of the Pacific Northwest.
