Sophie Lalande, M.S is a human-environment geographer and social scientist whose work and research focuses on the intersection of justice, the environment, and human-led institutions. She recently graduated with her Master of Science degree in Geography and Geospatial Science from Oregon State University, where her thesis focused on the preliminary implementation of Inflation Reduction Act funding within the agriculture sector. Sophie also has a background in energy and urban sustainability stemming from multiple internships and her undergraduate degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She is excited to put her background to use as part of the TCTAC/NWEJC team. When she isn't working, Sophie enjoys all things cooking and baking, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
