Film Students and Alumni Put Skills in Action at Lilac Grand Prix

Led by Film faculty member J.J. Vazquez, Portland State Film students and alumni were paid by Trackland to work at the Lilac Grand Prix, a Nike-sponsored professional track meet, in Spokane Washington. The Union Athletic Club hosted Olympians, national record holders, and world champions from the top track teams in the nation. Students worked as Camera Operators, Production Assistants, in graphics, and as Technical Director.
