Dr. Maria Kapantzoglou's research focuses on the assessment of language skills in bilingual children with and without language disorders. She has worked in federally funded projects to develop culturally and linguistically appropriate assessment tools for Spanish-English speaking children; she has also worked with bilingual children in English, Spanish and Greek. At PSU, she teaches courses on bilingualism, language disorders, and research methods, and supervises graduate students in the bilingual concentration of the Master program.
