Berens publishes peer-reviewed scholarship about digital humanities, contemporary book publishing, and digital literature. She occasionally publishes popular press articles in Publisher’s Weekly and the L.A. Review of Books.
She is particularly interested in speaking on career readiness, how AI changes humanities education, AI and academic dishonesty and AI and pedagogy (teaching and learning).
