Dr. Jean Aguilar-Valdez focuses on issues related to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) education with an emphasis on how to teach these subjects in ways that are equitable, inclusive, and socially just. They are also an activist for science education in the face of science-denial and hostility towards science.
