During the summer of 2024 — through workshops, creative ideation, and making sessions — the CETI community and partner artists, technologists, engineers, musicians and hackers, gathered for collaborative art-tech experiments in the CETI Lab, where they created uncanny, mesmerizing experiences that heighten our unease and fascination with a hyper-connected technology-permeated world.

The resulting exhibition, Spectral Entropy, is a collection of immersive and connected installations that explore our anxieties and fascination with the ubiquitous surveillance and control creating an interconnected entropic sameness blurring self and agency. The exhibit evokes unease and an eerie delight regarding the lurking sensors and algorithms that study us to create uncanny whimsical futures indifferent to human existence.

The event is free, but please RSVP via Eventbrite.
