ArchiLecture | Welcome Back!

Friday September 29th 2023 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Introducing ArchiLecture

Join us on Friday as we kick off our new lecture series, ArchiLecture (formerly Fridays@4), to hear Professor Juan Heredia, director of the School of Architecture, welcome students back into this new academic year!

We are excited to usher in this new cycle of architectural discoveries, projects, and challenges. Director Heredia will introduce us to this term's faculty and staff, comprising many returning professors along with some new faculty as well. This year's Graduate and Teaching Assistants will be introduced as well, along with the winners of last Spring's Tectonic Drawing Term Prize.

Our new ArchiLecture series will continue to be an exploration of impactful firms and individuals in the architecture community - the only difference is we are shifting from meeting after studio to before.

This term, we have 8 exciting guests and groups coming to present. Check out the Fall 2023 ArchiLecture Schedule:

September 29 | Juan Heredia -- Welcome Students!

October 6 | Pickathon -- A look into the design process and fabrication at Cherry Hill.

October 13 | Mexico City Study Abroad -- Hear firsthand from the students who participated in the School of Architecture summer study abroad trip to Mexico City.

What is ArchiLecture?

On most Fridays at 1:00 p.m. during the academic term, PSU School of Architecture students and faculty gather to hear from professional designers and architects, academics, visiting artists, innovators, and students in the program. ArchiLecture is a perfect way to wrap up each week of intense creativity in the studio and get inspired for the productive weekend ahead.

Free and open to the public. All are welcome!
