  3. Yiping Fang, Urban Studies and Planning faculty, gave a keynote speech titled "The ‘Success’ of China’s Rapid Development” on Oct. 4 for the Environment Across Boundaries (ENVX) 27th Annual Symposium: Green Innovation in China and the US on at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.
  4. Susan Kirtley, English faculty, presented a paper titled "Working Nine to Five: Employing Fluffy Ruffles" on Sep. 27 as part of the Cartoon Crossroads Columbus academic festival at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
  5. Catherine McNeur, History faculty, spoke about her book Mischievous Creatures: The Forgotten Sisters Who Transformed Early American Science in conversation with Andrew Robichaud, author of Animal City: The Domestication of America on Sep. 17 at the Massachusetts Historical Society in Boston.
  6. Catherine McNeur, History faculty, spoke as part of a series titled “Thinking through Writing” on Sep. 16 with History and American Studies graduate students at Boston University.
