Everyone has the power to change tomorrow. Here, you’ll find the tools. Programming. Designing. Engineering. It’s human capital that works innovation into reality. So bring your ideas, your boldest and biggest, and you’ll join us as a part of new ideas in action.

Our curriculum is designed to allow you to engage in your major right away, with major-specific courses in the 100 and 200 levels sequences. Our programs will help you succeed both in the classroom, learning from world-class professors working on real-world problems, to our extensive support outside the classroom with more than 28 student groups to join,  access to internships, the ability to be involved in faculty research, and dedicated student career services to help you start your engineering or computer science career.

At PSU, you may declare any engineering field or computer science as your major at any time after enrolling at Portland State University. Once you have completed most of your lower-division courses, you will need to complete either an admissions process for engineering majors or an "Opt-In" process for computer science students in order to enroll in the upper-division courses offered by the program (typically 300 and 400 level courses).
