Cynthia Lam Moffett has decades of experience as an education and community leader. As the Director of School Partnerships, she fosters relationships with schools, districts, education agencies, and community organizations. Prior to starting her current position, Cynthia taught in the College of Education in GTEP Elementary, Bilingual Teacher Pathways, English for Speakers of Other Languages, and Educational Leadership and Policy.
Originally from Hong Kong, Cynthia is active in working towards a Pacific Islander Asian American Studies program at PSU. She previously served as a teacher, mentor, and principal in K-12 schools. She is passionate about social justice and anti-racist pedagogy, which drive her work in the College of Education and beyond. In the community, Cynthia has led civic engagement efforts and created entrepreneurial opportunities for communities of color.
