Educational Leadership, Administration & Policy

PSU offers programs in educational leadership, higher education, and programs that intertwine sustainability with practice. We’ll prepare you to become a K-12 principal; work in higher education, like advising, leadership, or program development; provide leadership in sustainable solutions in your workplace or educational settings; or build your skills in service. We offer doctoral, licensure, master’s, and graduate certificates.

If you’re interested in education outside of the K-12 classroom, we offer graduate certificates, master’s degree programs, or the educational leadership doctorate to pursue careers in educational administration, preparing you to be a K-12 principal, college academic advisor, work in school districts, or excel in community education.

Post-Secondary Adult & Continuing Education (PACE) Master’s

Learn how to respond to the needs of adult learners. A master’s degree in Postsecondary Adult and Continuing Education (PACE) will prepare you to advise in college and workplace settings. Leadership for Sustainability in Education Master’s

The Leadership for Sustainability Education (LSE) program fosters skills in sustainability education and collaborative emergent leadership. Design and implement sustainable solutions in a variety of settings including schools, nonprofit organizations, local governments, and businesses.

Principal License

This program is for licensed teachers who have worked in a school for at least three years. Feel confident making strong decisions when it matters most, and move cutting-edge educational practices forward. Our approach integrates anti-racist teaching practices and prepares you to become a culturally-responsive leader.

Our interdisciplinary program prepares you to understand the complex issues and relationships between food, people, and society. We focus on the social, environmental, and economic impacts of the food sector. Graduates work in farm-to-school programs, urban agriculture nonprofits, development and advocacy, state agencies, and more.
