The MS-AEDA program is open to professionals and recent graduates with economics and non-economics degrees.
MS-Applied Economics and Data Analytics Application Requirements
- Meet PSU minimum admission requirement
- Unofficial transcript(s) with a completed bachelor’s degree. Once admitted, you will be required to submit official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities. Visit the PSU Admissions website for detailed transcript requirements.
- Show competency in calculus, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and statistics, either through a degree or relevant coursework. (P/NP is allowed)
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0-point scale). If the GPA is below 3.0, students may be admitted provided they show promise based on grades in economics, statistics, and/or math courses.
- CV or resume
- GRE/GMT scores are not required
- Application essay (about 400 words). Essays are your chance to go beyond your grades, test scores (if applicable), and resume. Use them to give us a deeper insight into your personal journey, background, and program goals.
- Two letters of recommendation
- $67 application fee
