Every week during the academic year, Currently celebrates faculty and staff accomplishments, including appearances on panels, presentations, recent publications or performances, and research grants.

1. Jola Ajibade, geography faculty, presented on a panel titled “Connecting Urban Violence and Climate Change In African Cities” organized by the United Kingdom’s Global Challenge Research Fund and Nottingham University on Dec. 2.   
2. Brian K. McCarthy, business, presented “How to Create a Customized Professional Development Plan” remotely at the Palm Institute College in Accra, Ghana on Nov. 5. 
3. Kimberly Pendell, library faculty, co-presented “Open for Whom? Challenging Information Privilege in Social Work” at the Council for Social Work Education Annual Planning Meeting in November.
