Julie Esparza Brown, Education faculty, was invited to present on the panel “Scholars of Color Advancing, Racial, Linguistic, and Disability Justice” on Apr. 9 at the Division for Diverse Learners Invited Symposium at the annual Council for Exceptional Children.

Bennett Gilbert, History and Philosophy faculty, presented “The Problems of Personalism Today” on Mar. 20-23 at the American Philosophical Association Pacific Division Annual Conference in Portland, Oregon.

Maurice Hamington, Professor of Philosophy and Affiliate Faculty in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, was invited to deliver the annual Philosophy Forum presentation on March 6 at California Polytechnic University in Humboldt, California.

Mary Marshall, Business faculty, presented “When a Dollar is Not a Dollar: Examining How Timing and Delivery of Government Transfers Influence Household Consumption Decisions” on Feb. 22-24 at the Journal of the American Taxation Conference in Long Beach, CA. 

Mary Marshall and Cass Hausserman, Business faculty, presented “A Perfect Storm: The Effect of IRS Incompetence on Taxpayer Behavior” on Feb. 22-24 at the American Taxation Association Midyear Meeting in Long Beach, CA.

Lainey Sevillano, Social Work faculty, co-presented the paper, “Heterogeneity in Prevalence and Predictors of Cardiovascular Disease among Asian Americans: A National Health Interview Study” on Mar. 15 at the Filipino/Filipinx American Health Symposium 2024.
