Jonathan Fink, Geology faculty, was selected to head a panel of the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine focused on the social and ecological consequences of future wildfire in the West. The panel will be held June 13-14 in Southern California. 

Maurice Hamington, Professor of Philosophy and Affiliate Faculty in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, led a virtual Teacher’s Tea discussion  titled “Revolutionary Care” on Mar. 16 for the Mechanics' Institute of San Francisco.

Daniel Jaffee, Sociology faculty, had his book Unbottled featured in an article in the Canadian news site Rabble.ca on Feb.12.

Daniel Jaffee, Sociology faculty, had his book Unbottled covered in an article in the Detroit Free Press on Feb. 29.

Anne McClanan, Art History faculty, participated in a collaboration funded by the Kress Foundation to improve public access to scholarship on premodern European art.
