by Currently May 12th 2021 Share Facebook Twitter Paul Loikith and Andrew Martin, geography faculty, received a four-year NASA grant from the Modeling, Analysis, and Prediction program to evaluate how climate models simulate precipitation extremes with the correct meteorological drivers over the contiguous United States. The award will contribute to the climate science community’s understanding of the representation of extreme precipitation in climate models. It is anticipated that results from this research will help advance climate modeling and facilitate better projections of future change in extreme precipitation. Currently grants Return to all news
