Speaker Selection Committee
A committee of PSU faculty, staff and student leaders will review student speaker applications. Finalists will be selected and be asked to deliver their speech at an audition before the speaker selection committee in late April. Final decisions on student speakers will be made by May 9, 2025.
Notes:
The College of the Arts employs a separate internal selection process for commencement speakers.
The OHSU-PSU School of Public Health has a separate nomination form for student speakers for both the SPH hooding ceremony and PSU commencement ceremony. Please visit this website to nominate a student speaker.
The School of Business employs a separate internal selection process for a graduate speaker.
