Portland State Fall All Majors + Engineering & Technology Fair 2024

The Grad School is collaborating with the Career Center in Portland State Fall All Majors + Engineering & Technology Fair 2024 this year. The fair is on October 14th, 2024, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm at PSU Viking Pavilion. A section of the fair will be dedicated to the Graduate School and our graduate programs. We are hoping to engage with our students and community members and promote graduate education.

Identify jobs and internships, practice networking, and connect face-to-face with recruiters at the Career & Internship Fair! At the fair, you’ll learn about potential job and internship opportunities that may align with your interests and career goals. Take advantage of this opportunity to connect with employers from diverse industries and spark professional connections!

• Employers are attending because they are looking to hire! Take this opportunity to make progress on your job and internship search by networking with employers and making a great first impression!
• It’s a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a wide variety of industries (e.g., government, nonprofit, and corporate) and see which ones suit your skill sets and interests. Learn about different career paths and ask your career questions directly to employers.

HOW TO PREPARE:

• Attend one of the University Career Center’s (UCC) many workshops in preparation for the fair! The UCC offers FREE workshops such as Introduction to Interviewing, Networking for Introverts, Internship Overview, Résumés & Cover Letters, LinkedIn 101, and more! • Schedule a 1:1 appointment with a career counselor to explore your career goals and strategize your job, internship, or graduate program search! Students that are in The School of Business or Maseeh College of Engineering & Computer Science can access career services from their respective colleges.
