  1. Miriam Abelson, Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies faculty, gave an invited talk titled “Disrupting Geographies of Racialized (Trans) Masculinities: Insurrections, Uprisings, and the Urban/Rural Political Divide” on May 3 at The Sexualities Project at Northwestern University Annual Symposium in Evanston, Illinois.
  2. Miriam Abelson, Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies faculty, was an invited panelist for the “Envisioning Feminist Futures Alumni Panel” on May 10 at the Center for the Study of Women in Society 50th Anniversary Symposium in Eugene, Oregon.
  3. Esmeralda Biblian-Rodriguez, undergraduate Spanish, English, and Chicano/Latino Studies scholar, and Cynthia Carmina Gomez, Director of Community Impact and faculty in University Studies, presented “Using Futures Thinking to Reframe, Invent and Ideate Higher Education” on May 29 at the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in Higher Education in Honolulu. 
  4. Gabriel Campbell, Environmental Science and Management faculty, presented the poster, “Oregon native coastal dune plant propagation” on Mar. 11with coauthors Kris Frietag, Rae Selling Berry Seed Bank lab manager, and ESM Students and Rae Selling Berry Seed Bank Assistants Roxanne Olsson, Kathryn Ketel, Kristen Malacara, April Hersey, and Stephanie Meikle at the Urban Ecosystem Research Consortium Conference in Portland, OR.
  5. Gabriel Campbell, Rae Selling Berry Seed Bank Director, presented “Oregon native coastal dune plant propagation” with coauthors Kris Frietag, Rae Selling Berry Seed Bank lab manager, and ESM Students and Rae Selling Berry Seed Bank Assistants Roxanne Olsson, Kathryn Ketel, Kristen Malacara, April Hersey, and Stephanie Meikle at the Coastal Dune Restoration Conference in San Diego.
  6. Cody Evers, Environmental Science and Management faculty, presented “Spatially Targeted Investments in Social Capital to Reduce Risk to Wildfire” on Apr. 19 with coauthor Max Nielsen-Pincus, Environmental Science and Management faculty, and other colleagues at the American Association of Geographers Annual Meeting in Honolulu.

Cody Evers, Environmental Science and Management faculty, presented “Assessing the Equitability of Wildfire Hazard Mitigation Actions by Incorporating Wildfire Exposure of Demographic Groups in Forest Management Scenario Models” on Apr. 19 with coauthor colleagues at the American Association of Geographers Annual Meeting in Honolulu.
  8. Cynthia Carmina Gomez, Director of Community Impact and University Studies faculty, presented "You Are a Futurist” on Apr. 25 at the Wings Conference: Climate, Technology, Community in Portland, Oregon. 
  9. Maurice Hamington, Philosophy and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies faculty, delivered a virtual presentation titled “A Social Revolution for A More Caring Future” on May 29 at an international conference on care at The American University of Paris.
  10. Jenn Hollandsworth Reed, OHSU-PSU School of Public Health adjunct instructor and doctoral candidate, presented “Using a Public Health Approach to Understand and Support the Mental Health of Police Officers” on May 30 at the American Public Health Association--Mental Health Section webinar “Mental Health in the Workplace.”
  11. Susan Kirtley, English faculty, co-led a workshop on Editing Comics, moderated a panel on Comics in College, and participated in a panel on "Sharing our Secrets" at the Vancouver Comic Arts Festival.
  12. Elisa Mickelson, Environmental Science student, and Patrick Edwards, Environmental Science and Management faculty, presented “An Index of Biotic Integrity for Macroinvertebrate Stream Bioassessment conducted by Community Scientists” on Nov. 6-8 at the Society for Freshwater Scientists PNW Chapter 2023 Annual Meeting in Hood River, Oregon.
  13. Elisa Mickelson, Environmental Science student, and Patrick Edwards, Environmental Science and Management faculty, presented “An Index of Biotic Integrity for Macroinvertebrate Stream Bioassessment conducted by Community Scientists” Feb. 26-Mar. 1 at the Oregon Chapter of the American Fisheries Society (ORFAS) Annual Meeting in Bend, Oregon.
