Shared Space and Equipment
The chemistry department has a variety of instruments available for research use. In addition, during the pandemic, our teaching lab spaces are available for research use to accommodate social distancing needs. You can gain access to these by emailing the stockroom with your request. Please use the subject "Shared Space Request: (the space you wish to use)", thank you.
Spaces available for scheduled usage at this time:
- Room 355 (FTIR, melting point, and Rotovap)
- Room 361 (FTIR, melting point, and Rotovap)
- Room 261 (FTIR and Polarimeter) Fume hoods are available for sample prep. Glass lab is open during stockroom hours only)
- Room 269 (Centrifuge. Please inquire with Drs Clare or Goforth for use of the centrifuge if you have not been trained)
- B2-63 (High-Performance Liquid Chromatograph, Fluorometer, Gas Chromatograph, and Atomic Absorption Spectrometer)
