Jessica joined the Center for Public Service in January 2017 as the EMPA Program Coordinator. She earned her M.S. in Education, Leadership, and Policy with a graduate certificate in Teaching Adult Learners, and B.S. in Health Studies all from Portland State University.

Prior to CPS, Jessica worked as an Assistant Director of Admission for Linfield College, where she worked with traditional and non-traditional student cohorts through the admission and transfer planning process. During her time in this position, Jessica collaborated on designing transfer articulation, co-admission agreements, and transcript evaluation. In addition to transfer best practice, Jessica collaborated with faculty on developing an interdisciplinary model of admission, advising, and faculty to promote: student success, publication co-authorship, best practices for recruiting in the healthcare workforce, and supporting adult learners in distance education.

Prior to that position, Jessica worked as a Graduate Assistant in The Office of Admission at Portland State University. Working with both domestic and international undergraduate students Jessica provided student communication, basic immigration information, drop-in admission counseling, and led PSU information sessions.

In her personal life, Jessica is a proud Oregonian who enjoys hiking, reading non-fiction, rock hounding, winetasting, and cooking.
