In November of 2021, Alyx joined Portland State University's Center for Public Service as the Assistant International Program Coordinator. Although he has lived in Oregon for ten years, he is originally from the state of Iowa, and is overjoyed to be able to work and study in the Pacific Northwest. Alyx is currently pursuing a B.S. double majoring in Psychology and Sociology and is expecting to graduate from PSU in early 2024. In his free time, Alyx enjoys drawing and painting, reading, writing creative nonfiction, and spending time with his partner and their two cats, Greyson and L.
