The LSAMP Research Scholars Program is a 9-month, cohort-based initiative offering LSAMP-eligible students paid introductory research opportunities. These experiences are designed to acquaint students with scientific research, boost their confidence, and prepare them for future opportunities. Students cultivate these skills by committing to 10 hours of research weekly and attending monthly meetings to develop essential research career skills.
