Join your colleagues in the PSU faculty book group to explore the opportunities and challenges of integrating generative AI into education. This term, we'll dive into Teaching with AI A Practical Guide to a New Era of Human Learning by José Antonio Bowen and C. Edward Watson, a practical guide offering research-based insights, tools, and strategies for using AI effectively in the classroom.

Together, we’ll discuss how AI can enhance teaching and learning while addressing its complexities. The book group provides a collaborative space to ask questions, share ideas, and connect with colleagues across disciplines as we navigate this transformative topic.

All attendees receive a copy of the book at registration, which they can pick up at the Office of Academic Innovation in Smith Memorial Student Union anytime before the book group begins!

This book group is offered in two different cohorts! You can choose between an 11am cohort or a 12pm cohort. Both groups meet five times, every two weeks, starting on 1/17/25 and ending on 3/14/25.
