PSU Career Services, in partnership with the Office of Academic Innovation (OAI), is creating a learning community of PSU faculty to support students' career readiness through our courses. As a participant, you will work on individual projects to be shared with your department and the wider campus community. The focus of each project will be both specific to your discipline (e.g., articulating National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) competencies in a syllabus), and more broadly applicable to your program or department (e.g., adding a career readiness component to a major). Many elements of your teaching may already support students' learning and growth in alignment with career readiness competencies; this community of practice is designed to support faculty to make those implicit connections explicit for students, colleagues, and community partners.

Community of Practice members will each receive compensation for their participation and work (the final stipend amount will be confirmed prior to the start of the spring term). All PSU faculty are encouraged to apply. Applications are open now through Friday, February 21, 2025.
