Songcha Bowman

Songcha Bowman has been Adjunct instructor teaching Violence Against Women and Children courses since 1999. She served as Executive Director of Counseling Services, providing counseling and psychotherapy since 1998. She facilitates several Batterer Intervention groups for Asian-Americans & Korean language specific. She also facilitates several Washington State Certified Domestic Violence Intervention Programs in Vancouver, WA since 1998. She has served in the Attorney General's formal rule-making SB81 Advisory Committee for Oregon State's standards for batterer's intervention program. She is the principal organizer of the Multicultural Counseling Professional Consortium and is an active member of the SAWERA as a victim advocate & educator. She participates in the four metro county family violence intervention councils and is an active voice of cultural diversity issu
