Amy is a senior in the Child and Family Studies program with a specialization in Early Intervention Early Childhood Special Education.  Amy, who has a deep love for animals and children, decided to pursue a career helping others when she worked in a special needs classroom.  She currently works at Flashtotalk as an Administrative Assistant.

Amy has worked to raise awareness about domestic violence.  As a member of the "Sexual Assault on the College Campus" Capstone Class, she was part of the group that began organizing PSU’s first Domestic Violence Awareness Month vigil.  “This is a topic that hits close to home, so I was very interested when I heard about the project,” Amy said.  She hopes that this event will help students become more aware about domestic violence and how to end it.
