Appointment to the Committee is for three years. The role of the Committee is to provide guidance to the UTRN Project Director in the following areas:

3) By February 2007 review the results of the research on transfer student sub-group pathways to the BA/BS. Provide observations on the implications of current policies and practices for increasing or limiting the success of particular sub-groups of students and where needed, recommend changes.
4) By June 2007 review and provide recommendations about a set of indicators or measures (process and outcomes) that can be used to assess the performance of the local urban transfer collaborative (i.e., the social 'system') over time.
5) During Year 3 the Committee will continue to review results of the pathways to the degree research and consider the policy and practice implications.
